Ports usage Survey

A random survey of open ports on the Internet is performed monthly, focusing on about 5.000 random hosts.
It gives an idea of what can be seen when facing an unknown, heavy filtered network.
As it is on an Internet basis, webservices are strongly represented. Therefore, those stats may not be reliable for Local Areas cases.
Anyway, this could be used for hosts discovery when TCP pinging instead of ICMP pinging.
